It's Hard to Stay...

For all you faithful, decent, hardworking, caring, productive, loyal and just want to be appreciated men in a committed relationship, this is for you. "It's hard to stay" upbeat in a relationship when your chosen partner is against you. You are committed to the relationship and you are the one who is routinely trying to take the relationship to the next level. You support and advocate open conversation and good communication, but for some reason beyond your comprehension, your parnter is just not on the same page as you are.

You practice fairness by listening to their wants and desires and all they can do is question your motives. They treat you as if they have some form of resentment towards you which keeps them from showing a sense of appreciation for who you are and what you do. Furthermore, they never find any fault in their actions. Nothing you ever do is good enough for them to express a willingness to be on the same productive page as you are, at least for any extended period of time. Before you know, years have passed and you are no better off then when things initially took a turn for the worse in the relationship.

Men, I'm going to give you  some words of advice to save you some time on finding this out the long and hard way I have. This fact I'm about to say is written in many relationship books and the recommendation of many therapists. What you have to do is ... focus on yourself.

We have to take back charge of our positive ambitions and discount the negativeness of our partner. We can't force our partner's to change to the point they realize their unsupportive ways. We have to make a choice to either end the relationship and start fresh or we can start living our lives more beneficial to our own self worth. This may mean looking for social groups that share our interests, providing some service to others who will appreciate our talents, and committing ourselves to routine meditation. It's when you and I give of ourselves to others, God will reveal to us, our true life partner.

Matthew 21:22 - And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
